The new Vision Pro Headset is displayed during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference On June-5- 2023 in Cupertino, California. Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the annual WWDC2023 developer conference with the announcement of the new Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset.

Outlay
The price is high for a reason, and it may not be what you think. Yes, the Vision Pro probably costs a fortune to produce. Width and M2 and a new R1 Chip inside, a dozen cameras, and a bunch of sensors, it surely Apple quite a bit of money to make this beast.
Usage
Its ability to track where the wearer's eyes are looking, users to interact with graphical elements just by looking at them. The headset can receive gesture and voice commands and features a form of 360-degree sound called spatial audio. The quoted unplugged operating time is two hours.
If You Wear Glasses
You can still use Vision Pro. Apple has teamed with Zeiss to create custom optical inserts that magnetically attach to the lenses for those who wear glasses. But how this actually works will be clear only after enough people with specs start using the headset around the world.
It is Not for Children
Apple has recommended the user is at least 13 years old.
Its Ruggedness Is Not Known
Apple has also not said if the headset has received any water resistance rating.
Battery Does not Last Long
Vision Pro requires an external battery pack that you need to charge after about 2 hours of use. The separate battery, apple wanted to keep the headset as light as possible. Meta's Quest Pro headsets includes the battery that makes it bulky.
It is Expensive
Vision Pro is priced at $3,499, or about Rs 2,90,000 at the current exchange rate. The Quest Pro mixed reality headset costs only $1,000 (RS. 83,000)
You Can't get it till 2023
Apple plans to start selling the headset sometime early next year - only in the United States to begin with. The headset could come to INDIA later in 2024.

Ski goggles
Apple Vision Pro looks different to similar headsets on the market - and is more reminiscent of a pair of ski goggles than a virtual reality headset.
Apple used the phrase "augmented reality" to describe what the new device does.
Augmented reality, also known as mixed reality, superimposes virtual objects in the world around us - enabling us to mix reality with virtual reality by looking through a screen.
"It's like your phone but right in front of you - big, bright and bold, wherever you are," Ms Klein man said.
In letting you do things like watch videos of your family blowing out birthday candles or immerse yourself in your photography by making your panoramic photos life-size, she says it is pitched as a device which is "very much about being part of your daily life", unlike many other headsets on the market geared primarily towards immersive gaming.
