How do you save water.
So little is the quantity of water available for our use that we have to use it very carefully. We know that water is precious resource. We cannot live without water. Not only we plants and animals also depend on water for their survival. Recollect the water sources on the earth. We can see use amounts of water in the seas and oceans. Is it useful for? We do not use the sea water for drinking. Why? Sea water is also not useful for crops. We only use freshwater.
Do you know what is freshwater? Where is it available? Freshwater is available in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. Do you know how much freshwater is available on Earth? If 10 litres of water is the total water on the surface of the Earth then out of this only 1 ml is available as freshwater for our use as well as for several plants and animals.
Did you notice that every small amount of freshwater is available on Earth? Most of the times we do not think of the importance of freshwater. We are not aware of the need to preserve freshwater.

Fresh water has been the constant and essential component of human beings throughout the history water is used in great quantities in agriculture and industries. But your planet is poorly and all with freshwater. Most of the water is rendered useless to humans by dissolved salt in the oceans. Only 3% is available as freshwater of which 2 by 3 is locked up in ice and snow. Plates is unkind in depositing almost 80% of range over the sea. The rain that Falls over the land has a great potential value. Unsustainable extraction of freshwater causes water scarcity. Due to over extraction of fresh water underground reserves are falling rapidly. In India the water table has fallen more than 300 human inventions which degrades the quantity and quantity of natural supply of freshwater occur in three principal ways.
Firstly Dam alter the natural floor of rivers often leading to water scarcity. Secondly soil macha moisture is lost by land degradation due to poor farming practices and deforestation. Thirdly surface water is polluted by the run of chemicals used in industries and household. World pollution is projected to grow 9.3 billion by 2050. In addition to save drinking water and sanitation the rising pressure on freshwater will be felt most severely the energy and food secters. 2 out of 3 people will be living with fresh water shortage by 2025. The growth of demand the decline in fresh water availability that was help effects from poor water quality and scarcity will result in violence and water works. The next World War would be over Water.
