Ischemic Stroke and TIA-
These are types of stroke. In such a stroke, a blood clot forms in the brain, which stops the flow of blood. For this, antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs have to be used. These drugs should be taken within 24 to 48 hours after stroke symptoms begin.
Clot-breaking drugs-
Thrombolytic drugs eliminate blood clots in the arteries of your brain. Which prevents the risk of stroke. This causes less damage to the brain.
Apart from this, a drug named Alteplase IV R-tpa is considered to be the most effective medicine for stroke. It eliminates blood clots very fast. It should be injected into the body within 3 to 4.5 hours after stroke symptoms begin. Due to this, there is no permanent disability in the body due to stroke.
Stents-
If the doctor finds that the artery walls have been weakened by the stroke, they may use a stent to repair the narrowed artery. If it is treated in time, then it remains right.
