WHAT IS CONSENT?
The very first meaning of hearing the word consent is of permission. Consent is a voluntary, enthusiastic, and clear agreement between participants exchanging their views on a certain point or issue related.
Consent engages and includes many other criteria and is mostly used in law, medicine, research, and sexual relationships.
The reality of our society's superstitious beliefs lies under the very age-old customs and traditions of gender biases, discriminations of caste, cultures, and so on. The vast differences of a female sect pointed out mostly from the beginning of her childhood given a very little concern in practices of education or household chores or working outdoors, judged and questioned throughout, keeping them as an unbothered ignored object for the same.
RULES OF CONSENT.
- Silence thereby is not consent. Consent in itself is a clear form and unambiguous in nature. We should never assume one like it is -rather, clarification should be clearly done on the same.
- Every participant in sexual activity must be capable of granting their consent. Failure to recognize that the other person was too impaired to consent is not "drunk sex." It's rather an assault.
- Consent shouldn't be forcefully grabbed. It should be given freely and willingly. Repeatedly asking someone to engage in such activity untill they permit is surely not on the list of concern; it's coercion.
WHY IS CONSENT NOT TAUGHT AND SPREAD OPENLY?
The limited thoughts of our Indian society has made it more worse not speaking and spreading the awareness of the thoughts needed to be taught to our generations and the coming future to make it better for us to feel ashamed or assaulted to confront the reality that most of us are hiding due to shame in society. Mainly these problems later arise questions on the dignity of women and others undergoing such sufferances. Why have numerous female genders been targeted under such causes, let that be for assaults or harassments, marital rapes, etc.? The education system shall also somewhat be the reason for such negativity globally, as rapes, assaults, molestations are taking way more turn to the wrong side. Stories teaching women being housewives limiting themselves to the four walls, why? Is this what she dreamt of, or is her fate all of it? No, humans with such thoughts are responsible as a whole for such, which is even true in certain minor areas of Rajasthan, Jharkhand .

UNDERSTANDING SEXUAL ASSAULT.
The definition of sexual assault isn't always clear, depending on the source.
Sexual assault is any unwanted sexual, physical, verbal, or visual act forcing others against their will.
Some examples include:-
- Rape
- Molestation
- Assault(can be any sort)
- harassment
- Unwanted fondling
- Forcing one to share pictures/videos.
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IF SOMEONE TRIES TO BREAKS INTO YOUR PRIVACY?
- Immediate help through proper guidance should be taken
- Contact to any police for reporting the crime done
- Reach out to someone you trust for help.
- Contacting local sexual assault centers to seek
counseling
One should never lose hope in such situations; suicidal thoughts/hurting oneself shouldn't be a part of the cause; rather, fighting the cause and reporting the criminals should be a proper lesson for all. Apart from such actions, there are other laws made too for taking care of such distracting situations.
