The number of dead is constantly increasing in the barbaric Israeli attacks in Gaza. More than 10,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the war between Hamas and Israel. Among them, the number of children and minors is more than 4 thousand. UN Secretary General António Guterres has once again criticized Israel for the death of so many civilians in the ongoing conflict.
Al Jazeera reported this information on Wednesday (November 8).
The UN Secretary General said,
Israeli attacks on Gaza are killing thousands of civilians. With so many civilian casualties, Israel's military operations say there is 'obviously something wrong'.
Antonio Guterres said Hamas allegedly violated the law when it used innocent Palestinians as human shields. But looking at the number of civilians killed in Israeli military operations, there is clearly something wrong.
In an interview with Reuters Next in New York, Guterres also said, "We have seen the killing of thousands of children in Gaza in a few days."
The Ministry of Health of Gaza said on Wednesday that at least 10,569 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. Among them there are 4 thousand 324 children. On the other hand, 1,400 people were killed in Israel by Hamas attacks.
Earlier on Monday (November 6) at a press conference in New York, Antonio Guterres called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid to enter the war-torn valley.
"We must now find a way out of this brutal, terrible, painful devastation," said the UN Secretary-General.
He said Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children. Hundreds of children are injured and killed every day.
Al-Quds Brigade attack in 3 cities of Israel
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, carried out counter-bomb attacks on three cities in Israel in response to the attack on Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades said the attack was carried out in the Israeli cities of Gushdan, Derat and Mefalsim on Wednesday (November 8). Al Jazeera news.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced the destruction of an Israeli tank in the northwest of Beit Lahiya city in the besieged Gaza Strip.
But so far the Israeli army has not commented on the attack by the Palestinian armed group.
Earlier, Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed to carry out new drone strikes on Israel. They claimed that the Israeli military base and airport activities were also temporarily stopped in this attack.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sari said on social media X (formerly Twitter),
The Yemeni armed forces... have carried out a series of drone strikes in the past few hours targeting various sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied territories. It shut down Israeli bases and airport operations for several hours.
He also said,
As long as Israel's brutal aggression against our brothers in Gaza does not stop, the Houthi forces will continue to carry out larger scale military operations in support of the Palestinian people....
Earlier, as a revenge for the Israeli aggression in Gaza, the Houthi rebels have recently launched a large number of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones targeting various Israeli installations. Although it did not cause much damage, their long-range weapons capabilities worried Israel and its Western allies.
