Why is it worth writing about your own experiences?

Why is it worth writing about your own experiences?

It is good to write about parenting, and especially about special parenting. Writing is a great way to structure your thoughts, explore the inside, deepen your understanding of things, find peace of mind and, of course, share your thoughts with others.

Dear people, how did 2022 start for you? I have left, at least not badly, moderately calmly. For some reason, it is difficult for us to go on vacation, but returning to everyday life is much easier. (Do others like it?)

Getting back to my daily routine usually also means that I can gradually catch up with these writing rhythms. From time to time I always take breaks from blogging, although I never planned them. They will just come. Writing for this blog is a creative process going at its own pace. Sometimes writing is more productive, and sometimes you need to gain momentum from the back of your mind.

I would not turn the Special Parent Patch series into a blog, where the most important thing would be to simply create all kinds of content, regardless of whether the texts are of real value to me and my readers. Of course, there are such "inferior" texts among them, but at least I did not create them with the help of a conveyor belt. I find it important that my blog moves something in me in the first place so that I think it will be a joy for others as well.

  Writing benefits

Writing is a reflection and therefore benefits a person. Writing can seem difficult, especially if you are trying to think about things that seem difficult. But the harder it is to get words on paper, the better the writing. While writing, I learned a lot and deepened my understanding of myself, parents, children, and in general everything that I have ever written about.

Writing has other positive effects as well. Writing, for example, relieves stress and anxiety, helps find solutions and new ideas, and keeps the brain in better shape. In my experience, in a world of ever-increasing entropy, things get better if you write a little about them.

Writing about parenting is a good example. In the end, modern parents find themselves under the cross pressure of different demands and expectations, and sometimes it seems like no matter how hard you try. But if a confused and unsuspecting parent takes a pen in his hand and separates all the slag around and within it on paper, he may suddenly realize that he understands how he should think about things.

However, the letter has its pitfalls, for example, hanging. There may even be certain types of obsessive thoughts that cannot be overcome. Each of us has sometimes accepted what is ingrained in our own consciousness as a truth that is so fundamental that we do not allow ourselves to accept facts that would contradict our truth. Then our own reasoning will only produce circular texts that we are trying to use to justify our own existence. As a result, we get a mouthful of foam, writing in a furious debate that the Earth is a flat pancake around which the sun revolves.

There is also a constant fluctuation of negative emotions. While it is sometimes good to just pour out the weight of your mind and dump all the despair, shame, grief, and other bad feelings that you have on paper, you also need to let go. Sometimes people are really attached to their own misery. Then molting does not bring any changes and does not help in either direction.

A stuck person does not develop. Therefore, it is worthwhile to overcome all kinds of congestion as best as possible. The best text, at least for me, is when I allow all my feelings and thoughts to manifest freely, accept them, break them up and let them go. Then you will see your own thinking and understanding develop unnoticed.

  Material has not run out

Maybe you are now wondering where to write this when, after all, there is nothing interesting to say? But you have. Children and family life create an endless amount of material. It is enough to briefly dwell on what your child has said or do, and think about how you think and feel about it yourself. Then you write the case open. Try this a few times and you will definitely discover new ideas in your life.

It's worth starting small. You can even write some updates or a personal diary, maybe start your own blog. And you don't have to just write. You can also handle things in other creative ways like drawing, composing, or even making a video. Choose the method that works best for you, writing is not everyone's business. However, I recommend giving it a try.

However, if you are not yet keen on writing, I will continue to write anyway. So you can wish me the topics you want to read about. Even leave a comment here or on the Facebook page or contact us via private message. At the same time, tell us a little about what belongs to you and how it leaves. It would be great to hear!
