Indian army is our pride as we know that the Indian army is the world's fifth most powerful military. It always makes us proud. There are some reasons why the Indian army is best.
Have you ever felt a sense of great pride when you look at our national flag, "Tiranga".? Have you ever thought about why the Indian army is one of the best armies? Let's take a look at it.
First, let us look at some successful stories of Indian army victory that make you proud.
- KARGIL WAR: The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict, was fought between India and Pakistan from May to July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir. In India, this is also referred to as Operation Vijay. The Kargil conflict is considered one of the most ferocious and intellectual wars ever fought by the Indian Army.
- URI SURGICAL STRIKE: On 18 September 2016, four heavily armed militants attack the brigade headquarters at Uri, Jammu, and Kashmir at dawn, killing 19 soldiers in their sleep. - CHOLA INCIDENT: The day-long military conflict between the Indian Army and the Chinese People's Liberation Army members in Sikkim had one conclusion - India's victory. 88 Indian soldiers dead. More than 300 Chinese soldiers were killed.
- SECOND AND THIRD INDO-PAK WAR: The Indo-Pak War clearly shows India's determination to fight against all odds.
I, Some qualities in our army that make it best are The Indian Army is one of the few armies in the world that has never started a war. They've only fought to either save India from enemy infiltration. These are not the only wars India won, but I think it's enough to make you feel proud.
Our country's soldiers set the excellent example of selfless service and brotherhood, and above all, love for the country. Major Vikram Batra, who leads one of the toughest operations in mountain warfare, sets a good example.

Can you guess who trains foreign armies from the UK, US, and Russia? The Indian Military Academy of Dehradun and Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School of Mizoram. This is our India who makes another's army. I am sure you are feeling a sense of happiness after reading this.
Protecting your country in -50 degree temperatures at 16,000 feet above sea level requires unfathomable dedication. Indian soldiers are one of the best in high elevations, jungle combat, and mountain warfare. The Siachen conflict is an excellent example of mountain warfare. The conflict between India and Pakistan over the disputed Siachen Glacier in Kashmir is in common knowledge. But, did you know it was Indian army colonel Narendra Kumar's political strategy that paved the way to our victory?
The Indian Army holds the record for accepting the largest military surrender during the 1971 Indo-Pak war when 93,000 Pakistan Army soldiers yielded. What started as a rescue mission turned into a 13-day war that the Indian Army fought tooth and nail. Our army wasn't ready to give up until both India and Pakistan signed the Shimla Agreement. And it is this determination of the Army we still see today as they proudly protect our borders.
