With so many special teams and players set to compete hard in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 here in India, I am excitedly looking forward to this fantastic tournament,” said Tendulkar.
“Marquee events like the World Cup seed dreams in young minds, I hope this edition too inspires young girls and boys to pick up sports and represent their countries at the highest level,” he added.
Just 15 when he stepped out on to the field to represent India, Tendulkar is today synonymous with everything Cricket. Returning from his debut tour, Tendulkar saw Anjali at the Mumbai international airport for the first time. It was love at first glance for the 17-year-old boy. Fortunately, he got to meet her with the help of a common friend and the duo started dating. The couple married on 24 May 1995 after dating for five long years. Anjali is a pediatrician and six years older than Tendulkar.
