Opposition parties have filed a no-confidence motion against Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan in the lower house of parliament on March 8. They made a written request to Speaker Asad Kaiser to convene a session to discuss and vote on the proposal. According to the Constitution of Pakistan, the Speaker must convene a session for discussion within 14 days of the submission of the written application. Opposition parties and political analysts say Pakistan will need the support of a strong military to come to power. Earlier, there were rumors that Imran Khan came to power in support of the army.
