Why I Love Strategy Games

A strategic game is one in which the game's skills and decisions are combined to influence the outcome. Typically, strategy games come in the form of video, board or computer games. Many games involve a strategy of some sort, however, those that are classified as strategy games are often more closely related to the player's decision-making skills to decide more than half of the final scores. The term strategy refers to military means, military strategy and strategies for achieving results. This is in contrast to games where players can rely heavily on chances to win. Tactical games vary widely and can be obtained with different themes. Some  genres include invisible tricks, war games, real-time tactics or strategy games, simulation, city building and the games of God. In war games as an example, there are often widespread imitations of past wars involving big leaders such as Alexander the Great, certain Roman emperors, and even world wars as well. A player is often required to take on the role of an important military person as a general or commander or a regular soldier with a “impossible” job of saving the day. Traditionally, strategy games are played on small objects or on a board. With the advent of the internet, however, one can find many online strategy games to play for those who choose, they can download strategy games. In addition, there are real-time strategy games and real-time strategy games. The former works on certain computer games, such as Nuke Zone, Blizzards Warcraft and Star craft, where the player has to make quick decisions and take quick action as games change. The latter, however, is more focused on the control and functioning of the wars. Examples include the Close Combat series and Total War. Tempt game strategies to simulate or use real-life situations as themes. So the decisions and actions of the player lead to the same results as they would a reality. Invisible strategy games, on the other hand, do not use real-life themes. The player must understand the mind in order to win the game. This includes games like Go, Chess, Checkers. Many free online strategy games can also be played online. The challenge is to find ways and means to conquer that controlling force. Other examples are Monopoly, Transport Tycoon, Supreme Ruler 2010, Capitalism and Railroad Tycoon. City-building strategy games also allow the player to build and manage a city. There is controversy over whether games like SimCity and the City Building Games series use the player's ability to analyze at all. However, they are considered to be strategic games. There are also turn-based strategy games (TBS) that force the user to think about the game first before committing to playing it. They are different from real-time partners in that sense. Like many other things, the advent of the internet has changed the face of games. Most people, especially children and adolescents, choose to play online games, whether it is a strategy or a puzzle or from any other category. To meet these needs, there are a number of quality websites that offer free online strategy games. No need to download anything, and no need for plug-ins. In fact, playing multiplayer online games is just a click of a mouse. As time goes on, we will probably see more free strategy games available for game lovers to choose from.
