Why I Blog?

My blogging history:

Ever since I started blogging this year, I have been asking why I blog. I also like "Why do I blog?", "Should I continue to blog?" I ask myself questions. Day and day.

Despite many positive feedback and comments from friends and family. Thrive Global then requested that one of my posts be featured in their publication. After getting more than 1000 views from 9 blogs. After gaining 36 new followers. Three weeks into my blogging journey.

Doubts:

I still have a lot of doubts in my mind.

I'm not a good writer, why write?

There are so many great articles out there, why bother?

There are so many people who are more knowledgeable than me, why bother?

Nobody reads my blog, why should I write?

I'm not always a good writer, why should I ...?

My Content Quality *****

Dialougue with myself:

After those self doubts, I had a serious dialogue with myself. Internal dialogue growth has given me the energy to adopt the idea and see how far I have traveled in other areas of my life. I'm not a good speaker before, but I'm a good speaker now because I have spoken at so many events. I became a strong lifter by working out 5 times a week, not a strong lifter before. Because of the time and effort I put in, I was able to excel in those areas in a row.

So, I'm blogging now because I'm not a good blogger, so I need practice. By constantly writing I understand that I am on my way to becoming a better blogger in the future.

The above is one of the many reasons why I blog, and blogging has empowered me to do a lot of things.

Blogging enables me.

Build character & discipline:

Anyone who thinks blogging is not a challenge has actually not done this. Sitting and writing, doing it consistently is a challenge. Anyone can improve by motivating them to constantly practice in any field. Sometimes, I feel lazy or unfit to write a blog, but practicing self-discipline and forcing myself to write a blog can feel amazing. One of the best feelings in the world is to conquer oneself.

I usually journal daily and I thought it would be more useful and beneficial to share my thoughts and lessons so that anyone can use the lessons learned. Even if it is not, it still serves as my journal.

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”

Last month, I had to do a lot of research, read a lot of articles, watch a lot of videos and listen to a lot of podcasts so that I could come up with great and meaningful material to write about. By arming myself with the blog topic, I learned a lot of other things in the process. The really interesting thing is how much free stuff we have online to learn. Also, I've learn them better through "teaching" in my blog post, because "teaching is the best way to learn."

Become a better thinker:

Writing really challenged me in so many ways. I need to decide my blogging format, the words in my paragraphs, the photos or quotes I want to include in the blog, the content I want to write and the depth and focus of each article. All of those decisions made me a better thinker.
