As we are aware of the fact that this covid-19 made so many differences in our lifestyle. Everything changed; we applied new systems. As a result, for safety, our schooling system is also changed our regular schooling is changed to homeschooling. This is a beneficial system mainly in these unsafe days; it has many advantages bit, believe me, it has its own problems or, say, lacks.
The main loss of this homeschooling is the connection between student and a teacher. In learning things, the emotional connection of the teacher and the student matters a lot; the better the connection, the better students understand. The connection between students and teachers is connected when teachers see students' behavior and vice versa. Nowadays, As we cannot see each other's behavior due to virtual meetings, the connection is interrupted, which leads to a poor relationship in them. Thus the greatest lack of homeschooling is the missing relation between students and teachers.
Now at the second place comes eye contact. As we switched ourselves to virtual online classes, the doubt clearing became worse. To solve a doubt completely, the eye contact of the solver and doubted must be strong enough, but if we talk about homeschooling, there is not even eye contact better not to talk about its strongness. This is leading to bad doubt solving and students facing a whole lot of problems due to that.
In this homeschooling, although many alternatives are there to understand particular points, there is also a social media brainwash, which is Definitely capable of ruining the student. What I mean by that is, on this social media there are a whole lot of teachers are there, and everyone tells its niceness and tells of being no 1 in the whole country, this influence students to learn from all of them which makes them a big web which is sufficient to wrap the student up. Often, students are misguided by some of them, and thus results in ruined future of the student.
The next problem in online schooling is the lack of aliveness in the class. Hereby aliveness, I mean the necessary conversation that used to take place in regular schooling are missing. The introvert students are getting more introvert which is closing many opportunities in their future careers. Also, the country is getting filled with introverts. This is happening due to the absence of lovely and nice alive conversation in which everyone is involved in the homeschooling.
The last but the most important thing is the missing relation or bonding with the friends we had. In school we are always in contact with our friends, they help us in some activities sometimes they ask for help which helps us learn how teamwork works. Nowadays, in this online schooling, relation and teamwork seem missing. This is also affecting the student extremely hard, and also they lack teamwork. "To grow emotionally strong, the emotional support of friends matters a lot."
So in my view, these are the factors that are crucially missing in the homeschooling we talked about. These factors make schooling hollow from the inside if we study it correctly. But by this, I don't really oppose online schooling as it is the only way of learning in current situations........
