When other brides watch the beautiful video of their wedding day, they wonder why they have not seen it. Video is no longer just a witty little side gimmick. Video is an art and a profession. In this day and age when people capture life on video with their cell phones and iPods and every other gadget, why not skip the most important moment of our life in quality video? Will you give "But we have an amazing photographer and it's already costing me an arm and a leg."  There are also very important differences between video and photography. The most important thing is that they are not identical. Next, VHS DVD is much easier to take home to a friend or to relatives in a distant state or country than our family wedding album. Also, we can copy our DVD or VHS and send it to relatives, where photos are usually not negative, so we should go back and ask our photographer to copy it for a nice fee. . The best reason for the video to be so different to the photography I last left out. Can we imagine what it is? We will not put our self in suspense anymore. The best reason why we really want our wedding day video is that when we watch our video, we feel like we are right there again. When our spouse is away and we have lost them, when we want to hear our vows again or when we want to see our self walking around the island, we can see that it really happened. Photos capture only the voiceless, emotionless, second half of what happened on our special day. If a photo is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million words. I'm not saying we should not be a photographer for our wedding. I will never be mad enough to justify excluding one from the other. Although some photographers try to get brides to spend money on video, they can hire the bride for an expensive photo package. They are dishonest dealers and I hope we can see their moves. I believe that both photography and videography have a useful and legitimate place in our wedding budget and on our wedding day, but doing without video is like going without music at our reception, it's better, but it's much better. Do some shopping around, watch some demo videos and I'm sure we will believe it we have been wanting for a long time and we will enjoy it for many years to come. The good part is that as the years go by and fashion changes, it becomes a kick and a hoot to see how we were years ago. our children and grandchildren will love it too.
