The Palestinian independence organization Hamas has said that Israel will not release hostages without a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. A member of the organization visiting Russia said this information.

Abu Hamid, a member of the Hamas delegation, told the Russian media Kommersant that time is needed to find the detained Israelis. He said, since the first day of the war, we have been expressing our desire to release the civilian prisoners.
This member of Hamas said,
Hundreds of people have been detained. Most of them are civilians. We need time to find them in Gaza. After that they should be released
Abu Hamid also said that 50 prisoners have already been killed in Gaza by Israeli air strikes.
Earlier, the Russian news agency Tass reported that a delegation of Hamas and the Russian government held talks in Moscow on Thursday (October 26) about the release of hostages from Israel.
Hamas has released four hostages so far. On October 20, mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Ranan were released for the first time. Then 85-year-old Yochev Lifschitz and 79-year-old Nurit Kuper were released on October 23.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Force-IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the estimated number of people held captive by Hamas in Gaza is 226.
