The rumor is about the first Pixel Fold: The Pixel Fold, Google's first foldable phone, will be unveiled next week at the Google I/O 2023 event.
A brief teaser video shows a full-size outer display on a phone that opens in a manner similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold devices, but Google has not provided any specifications for the device. Similar to other Pixel devices, the camera bar on the back does not stand out as much, as evidenced by leaked marketing materials and even a hands-on video.
In April, CNBC reported that the Pixel Fold would be a phone with a 5.8-inch screen that can fold out into a 7.6-inch tablet. It will reportedly cost more than $1,700, have "the most durable hinge on a foldable," weigh 10 ounces, and be powered by a Google Tensor G2 processor. The Z Fold 4, Samsung's most recent foldable, went on sale for $1,799.
In true Pixel fashion, Google has launched its first phablet, the Pixel Fold. The familiar refined aluminum casing, triple rear cameras, and glass-like surface engraved with Google's G icon can be seen by series fans.
