If you have never owned an Apple computer, you do not know what you are missing. On the other hand, if you regularly use Macintosh computers, you realize that once you have a Mac, you will never go back. The Apple Macintosh - whether it's a MacBook, Mac Pro, or iMac - is taking a personal computer to a whole new level. I bought my first iMac in 1998, have upgraded it twice, and am still as happy as a proverb mussel. Here are five reasons to love the Apple Macintosh.
1. Cool beauty. If there is only one thing Steve Jobs can do, it is to design the coolest but most beautiful electrical appliances. Why do you have a great computer desktop box when you can find everything you need on a beautiful iMac? After that clear, bright 16:10 monitor ratio is the whole computer, including a DVD drive and a 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo processor. There’s even a webcam built-in iMac so you can chat with a video or video conference whenever the desire comes.
2. Accurate performance. Even though Windows copied a friendly desktop interface from Apple Macintosh, they still can't fix it. Navigating the Mac interface is really accurate, attractive, and very fun. With a mobile computer product like the MacBook, you can take full computer performance wherever you go. And, wherever you go, you'll stay connected, as the MacBook automatically detects nearby wireless networks and gives you internet access almost instantly.
3. Digital living. Macintosh computers are designed to embrace the digital lifestyle. MacBooks and iMacs come with iLife, a series of apps that allow you to easily share photo albums, record podcasts,Why{ and songs, and create and edit movies. You can even publish what you have created on the web with one click. How cool is that?
4. No interruptions. If you have been involved with Vista for the past few months (or any other Windows operating system, for that matter), you do not know the meaning of freedom. Macintosh computer operating systems have no interruptions, and with regard to upgrades, you can choose when to receive software notifications, and always have the option to update now or in the future. The Mac simply does not interfere; you get to control the technology, instead of the technology controlling you.
5. Working horse. Macintosh computers are more than just a way to play in your free time. They are horses too. For years, artists and printers have almost exclusively used Macs in the workplace. With Mac Pro, you can get Adobe Creative Suite 3, a series of tools specially designed for creative professionals. Whether you are a web designer, illustrator, art director, or video expert, Adobe Creative Suite 3 will make your work easier, better, and more enjoyable.
There are those who say that Macintosh computers are limited in that most of the available software is only compatible with PCs. My experience is that my Mac can do anything a PC can - and do it better. But for those diehards who insist that they can't live without Windows, the next version of Mac OSX, Leopard, will allow you to install Windows XP on a Mac. Right now, you can use Windows in simulation mode… though my whole life, I don't understand why you would want to!
