Why female education is important?

As we all know that education is very important in our life. Education forms the base of the success. Education is the stairs which take you to the top. Education teaches us to behave well, and to talk with respect. It also teaches us to destroy the ills and evils of the society. It provides us respect in the society.

Education is the necessity of all human beings. Our society contains males as well as females. In ancient times, many people think that providing education to females is a waste of time. Females are only born for cooking and caring child, but now the time has been changed. Now females are working in different areas are similar to males. In shops, offices, malls etc. There are males as well as females who are doing job. There are many females who are in a great post. For example, Gita Gopinath (the first Indian woman to assume the position of chief economist at IMF).

Nowadays, there are also people who send your girl child to schools for education, but they don't take their education seriously. The main reason for this is they don't know the importance of educating a girl child. That's why this article contains some main reasons for providing education to females.

1. PRODUCTIVE/ AWARENESS

The main reason is this they become productive and gets awareness of the surroundings. If females get education then in future they can stand on their own legs. They do not have to depend on someone.

Suppose, in a relationship, there is a husband and wife, and they have a child. If the husband is only literate, and he only does job then he gets more burden of his house as well as to teach his child, but just think that if her wife also gets education then she can help her husband by reducing his burden of house by doing part-time jobs, online jobs etc. As well as, she will also become able to teach her children.

2. FINANCIAL STATUS

By educating females, the financial status will also grow. If females get education, then they also become able to work at different places, and it directly affects the financial status of the country. It is said that the GDP will increase by 3% if 10% more women attend school.

Instead of men, women can also work at another countries in the form of representative of any company. There are many IAS officers who are males as well as females.

By educating females, poverty also gets reduced. It is not necessary that only a man can take care of his family. Even a famale, can also take care of her family without depending on anyone.

3. LITERACY RATE

Literacy rate can be defined as the proportion of the adult population aged 15 years and over which is literate. Literacy rate is calculated by dividing the number of people aged 15 to 24 years who are literate by the total population in the same age group, the result is then multiplied by 100.

In 2006, the literacy rate was a 62.75%, in 2011 the literacy rate was 69.30% and in 2018 the literacy rate of 74.37 %. Through the graph, we can easily observe that the mindset of the people are changing and there is an improvement in the literacy rate.

4. INEQUALITY

There are many superstitions that have been followed from ancient times to till date.  One of the superstition is inequality between male and female. We always consider female lower than the man, but it is not true.

Just think that a woman can take care of her home as well as she can do a job. She can handle both the works together. In ancient times people thought that a woman is not equal to a man and woman cannot do job or neither they can go outside, but now the time has been changed.

Nowadays, women works outside and are equal to the men. When we stop believing the superstition of inequality then the death of baby child reduces. People do not hesitate to get a girl child instead they love him and cares him in the same way as of a boy child.

5. POLITICAL REPRESENTATION

Nowadays, there are many women in politics also. They represent their political party by their own. They become the member of the parties.

Women have held the post of president like the first female President of India was Pratibha Patil and also in the post of prime minister in India like the first female Prime Minister was Shrimati Indira Gandhi as well as chief ministers of various states like the first female Chief Minister in India was Sucheta Kriplani serving as the head of UP Government and in recent Mamta Banerjee is the chief minister of West Bengal in India.

CONCLUSION:-
