True love, conceptually, doesn’t exist on its own. It exists on the act in which it is expressed. People can choose to love anyone, and that’s exactly the point. No one deserves to be loved. The only exception are people who cannot physically take care of themselves. True love doesn’t last forever, but is constantly renewed. The thought that you need to love first before becoming able to love another is false. You can definitely love someone else with total disregard of self. Self-love should be automatic in the absence of true love for another. Self-love doesn’t necessarily result in happiness. Rather, it results in self-improvement. On Friendly People can totally be friends without being romantically involved. It’s simply a matter of avoiding doing things a couple does. If they can’t, then it’s inevitable. Friends who truly love one another is rare. On Familial Love A parent’s love for his or her children, when true, is the highest and purest form of love. Every person deserves the love of their parents, up to a certain point. Not all parents deserve their children’s love. Sibling love is the hardest to get right, but the easiest to be taken for granted. In case of two virtually equally loving parents, the Mother will always have the edge. On almost always begins with attraction. There’s no such thing as love at first sight. What happens on sight is while infatuation immediately follows. No love there. You don’t fall in love. If anything, you actually climb uphill to be and stay in love. Romance are often mistakenly interchanged. Romance is the feeling is what people keep doing after the shine of romance fades. Love isn’t enough to keep relationships alive. You cannot love more than one person at the same time. You can, one at a time. Whether that’s fair or not is completely upon you and your loved one’s mutual expectations. Most people’s heartaches come from the hope that one should lead to another. Wedding and marriage have nothing to do with love. A wedding is a social gathering. Marriage is a legal commitment. True love can persist without both. Couples aren’t in love all the time. In between acts of love are understanding, patience, tolerance, and a myriad of other virtues that are equally important. Loyalty and faithfulness are not prerequisites for true love. Loyalty is and always has been a measure of human decency. Faithfulness is a deeply moral choice. Trust does not automatically come with love. It is earned. Forgiveness up to a point. Beyond that is voluntary suffering. Attachment is not love. Animals are biologically wired to feel attached to one another. Humans most so. Feelings never die, but you can absolutely stop loving anyone in a heartbeat. Love is the most powerful thing in the universe. Love wins.Some gestures can be termed love.
