The education system of India is hanged over the same overages. It deals more with theories and formulas and less with practicality. Over the changing time, new courses and the advanced system should be introduced to make our youths equipped with practical knowledge.
One of the most important static changes that I think is mandatory is the introduction of Entrepreneurial education in schools and colleges. The students from the very beginning should be brought to light with practical knowledge of the world.
Why is it mandatory?
Our country is much behind the developed countries, for which one of the major causes is the steep decline in entrepreneurial growth in India.
Once an individual becomes an employee, he limits the potential of his own creativity confined within the boundary of that specific job. At the same time, a businessman or an entrepreneur is bound to think out of the box to expand his enterprise. He has to remain up to date with the changes in the market to hold his place and make happen his excellence in his field. The more creative and the more conveniently the entrepreneur can handle the shift, the high he can rise, which increases the potential of his brain.
Our education system is surrounded by a handful of algebraic formulas and theories of history that will not have any use in the future. Rather, it would force the students to expand their limitations and discover new things if such leading-edge education is added. Entrepreneurs are not just businessmen, but they also contribute to the overall economic graph of a nation. The US is leading and emerging as a developed nation because it has been producing many entrepreneurs every year who provide jobs to other nations leading to their rise in the economy. Entrepreneurs do not seek jobs; they create jobs.
Jobs create dependency over a certain company or organization for one living. Jobs can offer you only a limited and fixed amount of income.
Our education system only puts an effort to make you apt for linear careers with corporate and government jobs, and the main focus is to grasp a high pay package. But entrepreneurial education will teach the students to deal with finances, real-life management, and handle the crisis in need. A company faces a huge loss, and being the boss, how to handle those will all be taught to them, which will guide them to overcome in real life.
Why Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship makes you self-dependent, and you can lead an independent, flexible lifestyle. You will be the boss of your own company. You can earn much more revenue than jobs, limitless sources, unlike a fixed salary in a job. It leads to personal branding and so builds up your fame.
Many other skills develop like team management, leadership qualities, critical thinking, and a lot more. With this type of education, one can learn to stimulate the economy and judge situations from different angles. The art of creativity hides behind this moto which will financially lead our nation by increasing the economy. The more entrepreneurs come to the place; the more opportunities will come up for the youths. This will generate more job opportunities and will open new space in various fields.
But in the end, what comes to the fact is the passion for working for the individuals, be it a job or for choosing entrepreneurship.
