Why Emotions?

There is a picture of a sad clown in the original article. This can be found on my blog via my website.

A sad clown draws us towards him and evokes a sense of sadness and compassion. Have you ever noticed that the sadness and compassion are really what they are for you? We often experience our repressed emotional experiences and sorrows through some other external situations, primarily entertainment. Once we're in a safe environment, it's okay to let it out. Except you've buried  many emotions that you're not sure what's left unexpressed. At that stage we need a companion I mean a true friend but, it is really a difficult task to share your emotions.

When you will not express our emotions then it can derail you at any time, throw you off balance, build  waterworks at the drop of a hat, and ignite rage with a little.

“Suppressing your emotions, whether it's anger, sadness, grief or frustration, can lead to physical stress on your body. The effect is the same, even if the core emotion differs,” says provisional clinical psychologist Victoria Tarrant. “We know that it can affect blood pressure, memory and self-esteem.” you choose not to, or you're unable to share your emotions, thoughts and feelings with your significant other, yet you share them with someone else of the opposite gender. Although you're not having a physical affair, you are being emotionally intimate with someone other than your partner.

We can feel faithful in many areas of our lives. Most people might think of feeling faithful as something that's religious, which is true. It can be, if you're super devoted to a set of beliefs or your spirituality.

An emotion is a strong feeling — a feeling such as joy, sadness, fear, or anger that moves us. The experience makes you live, not just exist. It transforms our life from a series of plain tasteless events and facts into a living, breathing experience. There are many benefits. It improves the ability to connect with self and others, leading to healthier and happier relationships, improves decision-making and ability to solve problems, increases resilience, reduces stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms.

There are eight primary emotions: Joy, Trust, Fear, Surprise, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, Anticipation. Fear is among the most powerful of all emotions. And since emotions are far more powerful than thoughts, fear can overcome even the strongest parts of our intelligence.

Consider a new way of being in this world; a way that allows your emotions to be expressed and understood. Imagine being there for others who are embroiled in difficult times and are struggling to keep their emotions in check. What healing can occur! What power will be gained! What friendships and loyalties will develop! What team support?

I believe we are spiritual beings having a physical, human experience. In this context, we experience many things on many levels. Could this be what it means to be a multidimensional being? I'm not interested in empirical evidence and concise clarity; I am interested in the experience of being and life.

The complexity of existence and the human entity necessarily requires an element of faith and trust in an inner core that cannot be defined by science.
