Camille made a number of very strong points throughout the defamation trial that contributed to her rising popularity with viewers, and in an interview, after the trial, she also made an argument that seems very difficult to refute or deny.
She has pointed out that had Johnny done the things that Amber was PROVEN to have done through recordings and other evidence.
The star-studded lawyer, in contrast to Amber Heard, has gone from strength to strength after the defamation trial. Camille Vasquez has a new Hollywood client! The stunning lawyer has agreed to represent "Yellowstone" actress Q'orianka Kilcher in a new fraud case. On Wednesday, Vasquez confirmed the news, saying she was "determined to defend" Kilcher, who, ironically, plays attorney Angela Blue Thunder on the hit Paramount streaming series.
The actress was charged with two felony counts of workers' compensation fraud by the California Department of Insurance for receiving nearly $100,000 in disability benefits that were allegedly “undeserved.”
Kilcher claimed she was unable to work for a year after suffering a neck and shoulder injury on the set of "Dora and the Lost City of Gold." The star was treated by a doctor several times in late 2018, but then stopped treatment and “did not respond to the insurance company handling her claim on behalf of her employer,” according to the DOI.
Camille’s performance at the trial left everyone understandably in awe, and it has definitely contributed to her rising stardom. She, however, has not let the fame go to her head and has instead decided that she wants to use her newfound fame in order to inspire more women and make a difference in their lives.
During the same interview, the lawyer went on to say that despite the many changes in her daily life, there are a few things that haven't changed: "I mean I’m obviously very close to my family. I enjoy doing legal work, good legal work. I enjoy working with my colleagues, especially Ben [Chew], obviously."
It will also not surprise you to know that Camille Vasquez was promoted just a week after Johnny Depp’s defamation trial victory, and the whole world seems to think it was well deserved! We can’t really disagree.
Amber Heard meanwhile seems to be at the completely different end of the spectrum! Her defamation trial loss has seen her life go on a downward spiral, and now after losing the defamation trial in June, Amber Heard has reportedly approached Johnny Depp's close friend Angelina Jolie for advice and assistance. It is reported that “Angelina Jolie isn't interested in striking up a friendship with someone as notorious as Amber. And she's got a soft spot for Johnny, so Amber's out of luck."
