Many people who run a one-man show business or even a small business believe that showcasing in a trade show comes out of their league due to financial considerations, because big companies have big sales departments with a big budget, because the show booth is not affordable, simply because they have no idea how to design a booth, how to move and assemble one, how to operate a trade show, etc. I am writing this from my own experience, as someone who worked on designing trade show booths, actually set up trade shows, worked the ground show as an exhibitor and as a guest. Here are some of the reasons why it is important to attend trade shows, even if you are just starting your own business or running a small company: 1. Get a competitive edge, they are more successful than you or less successful than you. It really doesn’t get a hand in addition, as you have your competition at the end of your finger. Looking up, they all seem overconfident of their trading platforms and the brilliance of their marketing strategies, but they are in a very precarious position, as they donate everything they have and are also concerned about their * competition *, which it is. believe it or not… it's you! Use this excellent position. Your leisure, from the comfort of your bed, which may include a bag (literally) of books about suppliers and distributors in your highly targeted and unique industry. - Lots of coffee cups, advertising mints, candy, pens, laminated business cards and free golf balls than you will ever need. In large exhibition halls. Introduce yourself as someone else, interested in the product or service provided by you and your competitors. Make art, remember you have nothing to lose, you are in control and the ball is on your court. At this point, if you are reading this, you are probably wondering why, on behalf of all that makes sense, I am talking about evaluating your competition instead of the obvious reasons why trade shows exist, promoting a product or service. ? Well, analysts and exhibitors say that investigating the competition is exactly what these shows are all about. Meet your customers, show your product or service to the most qualified people as customers. You also get to meet current and potential customers and get real feedback and a sense of how your product or service is viewed, how it really works and what you can do to make it better, that is, more attractive and more useful to your customers. They regularly attend such events, and you will probably never get a better chance to speak face-to-face with the top planning staff. You also have a great opportunity to connect with distributors, retailers, buyers and others at your distribution channel. Know how and where to talk to this person for a long time. Will it be a place behind the booth, a nearby conference room, a table in the permit area, a recent meeting at your company premises? Compatriots, hopefully in this regard, the desirable attitude of "we will return to you" will be lost. You should be prepared, if they see you are not ready to close the trade.
