If you're curious about my interests, they are as follows: I've had various hobbies and interests throughout the years, but I now have five that I'm enthusiastic about. They have made a big difference in my life and brought me a lot of happiness.
1. You should read
I enjoy reading books, particularly nonfiction. I read around 60 books every year, covering a wide range of topics. I'm now reading The Old empire: In Browse of the Amazon's Last Uninhabited wilderness Tribes, which is about a group of aboriginal Indians who live in seclusion in the Amazonian wilderness. The book spans over 800 pages and provides a fascinating look into their lives and culture. It is an excellent book that emphasizes the necessity of maintaining our ecosystem and ecology.
2. Preparing meals
Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes. I cook approximately 5 days a week on average, and I frequently make extra to freeze it for later use. Cooking has taught me a lot about patience and attention, which are two key elements in creating excellent cuisine. I'm getting better at cooking as I cook more. Of course, I've made dishes that didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but I've learned from my errors and improved with each attempt. I prepare nutritious foods that I love eating. Most importantly, it is typically less expensive and tastes better than dining out at most places.
3. Documentary viewing
In general, I am not a huge lover of television. Great documentaries, on the other hand, are an anomaly. I have a diverse collection of interesting documentaries on my watch list, thanks to Youtube, Dailymotion, on-demand TV, and excellent networks like Smithsonian and National Geographic. Craigslist Joe, Happy, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Somm, and Man on Wire are among my favorite films, which I watch approximately 45 times a year.
4. Physical activity
I started occasionally exercising a few years ago, and it has been a fantastic pastime for me, though some may say that it is more of a need than a hobby, similar to cleaning your teeth. I do, however, love all types of exercise, including going to the gym, lifting weights, jogging, walking, hiking, and playing racquetball and soccer. I learn and like it more the longer I do it. I've also met a lot of amazing folks who understand my passion.
5. Gardening
Edible gardens have grown increasingly popular in recent years. To compliment my passion for cooking, I began cultivating my first edible garden some years ago. My garden not only supplies me with herbs and veggies to utilize in my favorite meals, but it also offers me a healthy, organic food supply. I enjoy understanding precisely what went into cultivating the food I consume. In addition, I've learned a lot about what plants grow best in my area, when seasons are ideal for growing each of them, and how much water and sun they require. My edible garden not only provides nourishment for my body but also teaches me a lot.
My passions play an essential role in my living. They brighten my days and provide a welcome respite from the rigors of everyday life. If you haven't already, I strongly advise you to begin exploring and developing at least one interest that you truly like. I'm confident you'll be pleased you did.
