Why Do I Have This Health Problem

This article discusses health problems and how some people allow such stress to subside. By thinking positively, they may be seeing good results. I hope you will enjoy reading.

I once had a neighbor who was about sixty-five. He was a good-looking man, rarely smiling and seemingly moaning about almost everything. Her name was Nancy.

When I first moved here, I tried to make friends with people who lived near me. When I first met Nancy, she kept telling me how sick she was and how her back was playing. I left the meeting feeling very sorry for Nancy.

Two weeks later, I met Nancy again. I admired her in a positive and cheerful way. I wish I had not bothered, as I had to listen to all his problems. He didn't have a single happy thing to say. During the next few years living with Nancy, I actually tried to avoid her.

I have to admit that I was a victim of self-pity. I grew up with a speech impediment known as tongues. I often wondered why I was given this problem. It seemed wrong to me, as I believed I was a really good person. I used to wonder why the god did not give Craig an obstacle, as he was a piece of evil work.

I lived with stuttering until I was 22 years old and started to change my attitude. Instead of looking at people I thought were more lucky than I was, I started reading and hearing about people who were very lucky. By watching the news on television, I saw some pictures and heard foreign news that made me realize how stupid I was. I may have had tongues but compared to other people in the world I am very lucky.

When people ask me how I am, I always give positive feedback even when I feel bad. I try to walk away smiling, 'and' know I live a full life. I was also able to overcome that horrible stutter.

People like Nancy can do this by changing their attitude and may find that they have more visitors coming to their home and that some of their illnesses are disappearing.
