The controversy over Novak Djokovic and Corona never ends. The Australian government revoked his visa twice after he left for Australia to play in the Australian Open. But the documents that Djokovic showed to play in the Australian Open are also in question.
The Serbian tennis star was not vaccinated by Corona, so he had to get medical clearance. Djokovic has given a reason for that, on December 16 he became Corona positive. But the BBC's investigative report has raised questions about the test papers he showed to be positive. According to the BBC, Djokovic's corona test serial number does not match all other corona test serial numbers that took place in Serbia on and before December 16!
But has Djokovic resorted to deception there too? The question arises!
Djokovic arrived in Australia on January 4 with a "medical clearance" to play in the Australian Open. But the question arose as to why he had not been vaccinated. At first, there was evidence that Djokovic, who claimed to have tested positive for corona on December 16, went to a rally on December 16 and gave a face-to-face interview with a journalist the next day. Although he traveled to Spain and Serbia 14 days before entering Australia, Djokovic did not write the form on his way to Australia.
In the end, if Djokovic is allowed to stay in Australia and play in the Australian Open, it could make the Australian public anti-vaccine, anti-government ... The Australian government revoked Djokovic's visa at the end of the 11-day drama.
But now the BBC's investigation says that there are doubts about the test that Djokovic tested positive for on December 16. The serial number of Djokovic's Corona test on December 16 is 6371999, but the serial number of Corona test which was running in Serbia at that time is much less than that.
Even the serial number (8320919) of the test that Djokovic tested negative for corona in the second round on December 22 is behind his serial number of December 16!
Gerfershung, a German research group, was the first to point out this discrepancy.
The BBC has collected reports from its Serbian correspondents on 21 Tests in Serbia on and after 16 December. In addition, the BBC has received reports of 35 more corona tests from Serbian researcher Milovan Subakov in the United States. According to the BBC, the serial numbers of the Corona Tests in Serbia were given following the sequence.
That is, the earlier the test, the earlier the serial number. As such, the serial number of Djokovic's first test (December 16) is not likely to be the same as the serial number of his second test (December 22).
There is another important aspect to look at based on the test reports in the hands of the BBC. Djokovic's December 16 test code or serial number (6361999) falls between the code in the BBC's December 25 Corona test report (736969) and the December 26 test report (8415312).
In that case, it is doubtful whether Djokovic actually tested positive for Corona on December 26, instead of December 16. Doubts are also being raised as to whether Djokovic's entry into Australia in early January, if tested positive between December 25 and 26, would have prevented him from doing so.
