Why Dieting For Success Making It Happen

All too often, dieting is approached with impending failure in mind. Too many people have tried and failed so many diets in their past that they try another new diet knowing full well that they will fail this time too. Guess what? They will be.

Henry Ford once said, "If you think you can or you think you can't, you'll always be right." If you think you're going to fail this diet, you're setting yourself up for failure before you even take the first bite. Think before you start because only a true masochist can find pleasure in perpetuating this vicious cycle without ever stopping to wonder why none of the other diets worked for you. Henry Ford also said, "Failure is only an opportunity to start over more intelligently." In case you were wondering, I'd say his words are pretty profound. But seriously, if you don't examine the reasons for your failures, you're definitely dooming yourself to repeat them, and if you're already planning to fail, why on earth would you even try?

You are the only person who can take control of your need to eat. You are the only one who can pay attention and notice when you are eating for emotional fulfillment and when you are eating out of necessity. You and you alone can get out of your chair and onto your feet. You are the only one who can take responsibility for the state you are in. There are medical exceptions, but even in those situations, if you're trying diet after diet and failing over and over again, you have to realize at some point that diets probably don't work.

We all have to take responsibility for our successes and failures in life. The same is true of diet. There are few better feelings in the world than having someone notice and appreciate your efforts. Unfortunately, if you are very obese, it may take a little longer for people to actually notice that you have lost weight. Too many men and women give up just because no one noticed, and that's an incredible shame. Give your diet practices a chance to work before you decide they're a failure, and you might surprise yourself with tremendous success.

The truth is that too few people are accountable for their diets and weight loss goals. This means that far too many people give up without even trying. If you have trouble being accountable for your diet plans, you might do well to diet with a partner. This will help you not only set goals but also meet and overcome challenges along the way. A partner can also benefit from a partnership as they will struggle and feel the need to perform better than if they were dieting alone.

To achieve lasting results, you need to be accountable for your diet and weight loss goals. If you haven't had success with dieting in the past, maybe it's time to bring some accountability into the picture and make it happen.

Maintain diet three time daily.
