Every woman goes through an important stage in her life when she becomes a pregnant mother. Women have a wide range of roles in the reproductive system and as a result during those difficult months they need to be given more attention. Because the future life of a child depends on the health of the mother, you should know what to do and what not to do at this time. Healthy diet plan tips A balanced diet is the main rule of a healthy diet when you expect that means your diet should include plenty of fruits, vegetables, protein, grains and fluids. There are certain eating habits that can be harmful to your child and the only part you should avoid. Things to avoid during your eating habits 1. If you like junk food it can provide extra calories without the nutritional benefits of a healthy diet and therefore try to avoid it. Have an apple instead of a donut. 2. You should completely avoid alcohol and caffeine as this avoids the absorption of two important nutrients (folic acid and iron) which are important during pregnancy and can affect the fetus with long-term growth effects. 3. A healthy diet should be about 20 percent fat during pregnancy and all foods contain a certain amount of fat. Fruits are 3 to 14 percent fat, grain is 3 to 10 percent fat, and vegetables have 1 to 10 percent fat so you can’t avoid fat completely but you don’t need enough fat anymore. 4. Many of the foods we take are full of preservatives, dyes, flavor enhancers and hormones and antibiotics. This can help to improve the taste of food but also produce fewer chemical residues and many additives that are safe but need to be avoided. Such supplements include Monosodium glutamate (MSG), a flavor enhancer that can lead to headaches and stomach upset. Unsafe food colors are blue 1, blue 2, green 3, red 3 and yellow 6. Olestra or Olean, Saccharin, high-fat red meat should also be avoided. 5. You should eat a non-pasteurized diet that eliminates food allergies and is healthy during pregnancy. Other common foods that are not pasteurized include cider and fresh squeezed juices where you should check the label to make sure they are pasteurized. Some bottled smoothies and yoghurt drinks, uncooked milk cheese are not included and can be harmful during pregnancy. 6. Seafood such as fish is very healthy but you should avoid shellfish-like fish that may be infected. Swordfish, sharks, tilefish may have high levels of methyl mercury and may harm the developing fetus. Self-catching fish should be tested for any contamination with tropical fish such as grouper, and amberjack may contain toxic substances. Seafood such as sushi and sashimi are not asked here. 7. Before picking fruits and vegetables you should wash them thoroughly and simply avoid shoots that may contain germs called E.coli. 8. There is a risk of eating raw meat and eggs as they may carry the disease as they are, avoid shrimp cocktails, frankfurters, lunch meat and smoked fish during pregnancy. 9. You may think the herbs are harmless but even if you need a top avoid raspberry tea, co hash, ginseng and green tea which may promote constipation. You can take fruit, ginger or mint tea. 10. Never think about food during pregnancy but feeding a healthy, growing baby is your responsibility so forget about too many carbohydrates, low fat or liquid foods and supplements. You should eat three times a day. Vegetable foods are safe if you take supplements such as vitamin B12, iron, zinc, folic acid, magnesium, calcium and vitamin D. 11. Avoid poorly packaged or stored foods that may be spoiled or improperly packaged. You should keep your food safe and thus always eat hot and cold cold food. Do not take food when packing has an expiration date and exceed the time limits. You can use your nose to check for food odor and if in doubt, remove it. Never take out frozen food to melt over the counter every afternoon but you can put it in the fridge in the morning and heat it in the microwave oven just before cooking. Keep your cooking areas clean and use smooth surfaces to cut meat.
