why diet is necessary

Intermittent Fasting Diet

For the uninitiated, this isn’t so much a diet as an eating strategy where you consume all of your calories in a set time period and then fast for the rest of the day.

You consume your calories in an eight-hour eating window and fast for the other 16 hours of the day.

The concept is that you’ll be eating fewer calories since you’re squeezing them into a narrower timeframe, as opposed to consuming them throughout the day.

Intermittent fasting refers to voluntarily restrict eating hours and/or meal times as a way of boosting health.

Why Intermittent Fast

Intermittent fasting over a period of 10 weeks typically equated to a weight loss of 7-11 pounds.

Intermittent fasting can also reduce hunger cravings and build discipline surrounding food. Not to mention, it is one of the few dieting methods that may allow you to retain more muscle mass while cutting out fat.

Veganism Diet

It is one of the fastest-growing movements in the United States. Six percent of Americans identified as vegans in 2017, up from just one percent in 2014.  A few years ago, vegans would only eat beans, legumes, grains, egg-free pasta, fruits, and vegetables. But advances in technology have allowed the alternative meat industry have provided vegans access to a wider variety of products.

According to ‘The Economist’, when it comes to the US, in 2019, an intense transition from vegetarians to vegans has started and the number of vegans went up to almost 3.5%. One million of them – that’s approximately 0.5% – lead a pure vegan lifestyle. However, when it comes to the entire world, the approximate number of vegans is less than 1%. As of September 2020, the total number of vegans is approximately 78 million. But, the numbers continuously rise.

Vegan diet tends to be rich in fiber and low in protein, salt, calcium and cholesterol. Studies show that this can improve one’s overall health. According to some sources, this diet can reduce a person’s cancer risk by 15%. Research also suggests that this type of lifestyle has benefits regarding heart health and lowers the risk of type-2 diabetes. Adopting a vegan diet can also lead to weight loss.

According to some panel surveys regarding vegans in the 21st century, 78% of panel members said that they went vegan between the ages of 16 and 34, with 52% between the ages of 16 and 24. The average age for turning vegan is 24.1, although the most frequent ages are 19, 20 and 21.

Carnivore Diet

What if your mother’s advice to eat your vegetables was a lie?

Carnivore devotees only eat animal-based products — meat, cheese, milk, animal-based fats, and eggs. There are no grains, no vegetables, and no fruits. No, that’s not a joke.

The carnivore diet is a radical elimination diet. It may seem severe, but almost everything in western diets can trigger disease. You’ve been assaulted with an endless barrage of foods that trigger your immune system. And yes, that even includes vegetables Why?  Because everything in your diet is brand new in the evolutionary scale of things. If evolution were a 365 day calendar we’ve only been eating mass produced grains for 2 days and common vegetables for 1 hour.Whereas we’ve been eating animal foods for the entire year (talk about a great year).

The carnivore diet is the exact opposite of what we’re fed by today’s diet culture.

Yet it has:

  • Cleared people’s skin
  • Supercharged energy
  • Led to faster weight loss than a vegan drops $16 on avocado toast
