One of the most interesting gaming accounts of the year is getting serious about the Second Happening to Cyberpunk 2077. Due to resurgent interest from an uncommon Netflix anime series, one more fix, and a half-off bargain, the game is hitting concurrent player count numbers that are the most important they've been in a long time. In addition, somehow, they're really going up seven days after Cyberpunk showed up.
What's going on here?
Last weekend, I thought we hit one more top on Sunday, where Cyberpunk 2077 hit 85,000 concurrent players, breaking into Steam's fundamental 10. However, I was enraptured to observe all as the week progressed, where somehow, on work days, Cyberpunk is at this point overwhelming that number.
