There was a delay of years as some went to court over it. Meanwhile, the Railways shifted the project to another state. Later in 2016, Wagon sanctioned an overhauling workshop with an estimated cost of Rs 383.05 crore. Rs 200 crore has been allocated in the railway budget. But those funds were not released as the state government did not allocate land to the railways. After many years, the court case was settled last year. The way was paved for handing over the land to the railways. According to the regulations, the land has to be fully transferred in the name of the railways, after which the factory works are carried out. Railway officials have also told state officials about the matter. But the article says that the problem came with the confusion in Dharani.
