#Thanjavur: After 11 people were killed in a chariot accident, Chief Minister MK Stalin visited #Thanjavur to offer his condolences to the victims and visit the site of the accident.

(45), #Paranitharan (13) and 11 others died tragically. Many have been admitted to the #Tanjore Government Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
On his way to #Thanjavur, the Chief Minister expressed his condolences to Chief Minister MK Stalin on learning of the accident. He said he was saddened by the news of the death of 11 people at the #Tanjore Chariot Festival and announced that relief assistance of Rs 5 lakh each would be provided to the families of the victims. He also ordered high quality treatment for the injured.
In this situation, Chief Minister MK Stalin flew from Chennai to #Trichy and from there went to #Thanjavur to meet the families of the victims and offer his condolences. The victims cried when they saw the Chief Minister. He handed them a check containing MK Stalin's relief amount.
Chief Minister MK Stalin then went to the village of #Kalimedu where the chariot crashed and inspected the scene of the accident. He also visited the fiery toad.
