Bruno Mars, known for his comedic side, good music and good looks has taken to his social media for some comedy but fans have noticed that he deliberately supported and praised JohnnyDepp. For the people who have been following social media closely, a lot of news has come out saying celebrities have been unliking and unfollowing Johnny. Bruno’s move was bold and direct because some people, Amber's supporters specifically, had included a lot of celebrities in the list of those unliked Johnny’s posts to a point where we realised this information might be fake.
It's like Bruno didn't want to be included in the fake propaganda and so he posted a post about Johnny in his Instagram and in the process dissed and embarrassed Amber and her supporters. There is no way anyone is going to say that Bruno doesn't like or support Johnny because he himself has acknowledged that there is no bad blood between him and Johnny.
Amber and her team have been claiming that a lot of celebrities are disliking Johnny’s posts because they no longer support him, but we have had some big names loudly supporting Depp from the beginning. with Paul McCartney projecting images of the Pirates of the Caribbean star on screen at his concerts and ex-girlfriend Kate Moss taking the stand to support him in a mega-viral moment. They all stood by him and so did the jury and the public, and even now we still believe him and support him.
A lot of Amber stans have been claiming that if Johnny was innocent his family would loudly and publicly support him and that Depp’s daughter with Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose, was quiet on social media during the trial. I clearly remember in 2016, when allegations against Depp first surfaced, the 23-year-old model and actress defended her father on Instagram.
She has since deleted this post and hasn’t spoken out about her father since the verdict was read because of all the backlash she received from Ambers fans but also because she stopped having the need to validate her father when she herself believed in him. Johnny Depp’s son, Jack Depp, hasn’t commented publicly on the allegations of or the defamation trial and I think it was because he's not really into social media and stuff and for him, as long as he believes his dad that's it.
The people who say Johnny has no support seem to have forgotten how Johnny’s friend was moved to tears during the trial because he really felt bad about all Johnny has gone through and wanted the best for him. This is a really different picture from Amber who had no one to support her, all her friends had either cut her off or not attended, She was even called out by Camille Vasquez who reminded everyone that the only support Amber had was from her sister.
These rumours of celebrities not liking his post came because shortly after the verdict was delivered, Depp, who had received a strong wave of support on social media during the trial, shared a statement on Instagram, in which he said that the "jury gave me my life back."The Instagram post attracted more than 19 million likes, with a host of celebrities counting themselves among those who showed their support through social media.
Now months later a thread started spreading on Twitter about celebrities unliking that particular post. According to the thread, Robert Downey Jr, Halle Bailey, Bella Hadid, Joey King, Elle Fanning, Sophie Turner, Zoey Deutch, Orlando Bloom, and many YouTubers and Influencers unliked Depp’s post.
A fan tweeted, I’ve seen a lot of information lately on who supports Johnny and who supports Amber. I’ve collected every single celebrity that I can find who either follows Johnny Depp or who liked his post about or after the verdict. But also some other celebrities who support. A thread. But some people have come to realise that the entire thing was nothing but a rumour with a fan tweeting, “ So the rumour that celebrities are “taking back their likes' ' from JohnnyDepp’s Instagram posts are a lie. A lie perpetrated by AmberHeard’s side. Honestly, that woman and her team will stop at nothing. Face it, Amber, you lost! #JusticeForJohnnyDepp #AmberHeard.
Thanks to people like Bruno who don't really want to be linked to those lies and he himself has assured the public that he is still a fan of Johnny.
