Mr Grover's reaction came just one day after BharatPe slammed him for "spinning lies and throwing unsubstantiated charges and threats" against the corporation.

The fintech company stated that Mr Grover and his family "engaged in extensive misappropriation of company funds" and, as a result, he "is no longer an employee, a founder, or a director of the company".

"I am disturbed, but not surprised, by the personal character of the BharatPe Board's statement. In a LinkedIn article, he stated, "It comes from a place of personal animosity and poor thinking."

"I believe the Board should be informed of the $1 million in secondary shares purchased from me in Series C, $2.5 million in Series D, and $8.5 million in Series E." I'm also curious as to who among Amarchand, PWC, and A&M has begun conducting audits on one's lifestyle's 'lavishness.' "The only thing luxurious about me is my ability to realise my dreams despite all difficulties via hard work and enterprise," he continued in the article.

Mr Grover expressed the hope that the BharatPe board of directors "can go back to work as soon as possible." As a shareholder, I am concerned about the loss of value. I wish the corporation and its board of directors a quick recovery. Please return to your regular jobs."

Mr Grover also commented, "I do certainly live a pretty expensive lifestyle," a dig at his former company's board of directors. Friends with open hearts invite me to their houses, where I have no qualms about sleeping on the floor. And this is when I'm raising $370 million in Series E funding in the United States and the United Kingdom. I also have the right to stay at any opulent hotel and charge it to my company-issued credit card. Those who have never constructed from the ground up will never comprehend the Founder's mindset."
