Today in this well-connected world, we are still only seeing the positive or glamorous side of this world.
And when any problem happens in our life, we say, why always me? Why not that guy on social media? Why do I always cry, and others enjoy their life. In this article, I share my thoughts, experience, and learnings about not being special and how to deal with it?Â
Â
You are not special...what it means?
It means that when a problem comes into anyone's life, they thought, why me? Why I am so unlucky is because of this person or that person.
But we forgot that the truth is there are no such things as personal problems.
If you look around yourself, you will see that prob someone in the past faces problems you are facing nowe is facing now, or someone is going to face them in the future.
Yeah yeah, I know this doesn't minimize the problem or reduce the pain.
It simply means you are not a victim of a problem which god or whatever you believe has specifically created for you.
See, everyone faces some problem in their life that's not the main thing; the main thing is how you tackle that problem.
Â
So you can now ask questions like if I am not special, then what is the point of of living like a common person in a crowd?
So here interesting one comes that If I am not special or different, why are most motivationwhy are most motivational speakersk different?
Â
Now here is the answer -
People who become great at anything become great because they understand that they are not already great - they are mediocre,average-andy could be so much better.
These two lines above really changed my thinking before if I lose at any game or study; I always thought that another person is naturally talented or has something I don't have, which is helping him.
Or the other person has a different mindset, he knows I am mediocre at this thing, and if I really want to be great, I have to do better.
And this differentiates a winner in life from a loser in life.
Â
So what does matter in life?
See, "Life is all about suffering" long ago, Buddha said that.
So you can ask what It means? Do I end up my life? If there is no happiness in living, then why should I live?Â
Hold on, brother, I know life is all about suffering, but you can choose what you will suffer for?
You can choose. If I suffer for this thing it matters to me at the end of my life or not?
Â
"Life is all about 10 to 20 great works that will be remembered for decades."
When you start appreciating ordinary things or experiences like the pleasure of simple friendship, creating something, helping a person in need, reading a good book, laughing with someone, you care about. You will then experience what life is?
They are mere ordinary things, but they are the things that matter.
