We probably do not know when the first diamond was discovered, but we do know that, from ancient times to the 18th century, all the world's diamonds came from India. From the time of the Roman Empire to the appearance of the first Europeans to India, in the early 16th century, trade relations between Europe and East Asia flourished. One of the main routes of the diamond trade was in Venice. The city has become the most important commercial republic in the western world. It enjoyed the domination of the diamond trade to the major cities of southern Germany until its final destination, Brussels. As the city became the final phase of the trade route, it became a promising center of diamonds, and the city's reputation in the industry did not stop growing. Although Brussels retained its rule until the end of the 14th century, it began to decline at the end of fifty years. The diamond trade and many other Brussels economic activities have been gradually relocated to the city of Ambers, providing the latest and best communications and commercial services. In 1866, South Africa's first diamond was discovered. This was followed by the acquisition of Kimberley deposits a few years later, which spawned the good Kimberley era. The name diamond comes from the Greek word ‘adamas’, which means invincible, and ‘diaphanes’, meaning obvious. Centuries ago, people believed that diamonds could restore a broken marriage. It was also used in warfare as a symbol of courage. Although a diamond is the richest stone known to man, it is the only gemstone with only one element: carbon. However, it can only melt when set to a temperature of 5500 degrees Celsius! Billions of years ago, the basic forces of heat and pressure miraculously transformed carbon into diamonds in the crater underground. Somehow, the volcano was driven from the crust of the earth, and rapid cooling would be found as diamonds in an unusual state. No acid can destroy them, and they can cut anything on Earth, so they can be cut off by themselves. However, are diamonds permanent? If they appear miraculous, can they be destroyed? As strange as it may seem, the small diamond that adorns the ring you gave your wife will probably last forever - at least while the Earth exists. They are the most resistant minerals in the world, and they can only dissolve when exposed to a temperature of 5500 ° C. The problem is that the global atmosphere could never reach such a high temperature, even if it were hit by a massive meteorite that could wipe out all life. They can only melt if, one day, the planet actually enters the Sun, with a temperature of 5800 ° C. Interestingly, according to astronomers, at 7.5 billion years our planet will actually enter the Sun, when the star will be close to death. If you think the diamonds will disappear at that point, you may be wrong. In the event of such an event, the Sun's temperature will drop to about 3000 ° C.
