World And Architecture. (English)
Architecture history
The history of architecture is almost as long as the history of humanity itself, and perhaps as complex. The exact origins of architecture can be traced back to the Neolithic period of 10,000 BC , or simply when people stopped living in caves and wanted to handle the way they looked and felt their homes. Perhaps from there we started to move like architecture .
The oldest buildings we can see and practice today belong to the most developed and powerful societies.
Egypt and architecture
The first great civilization to emerge around the Mediterranean basin was that of Egypt (c.3100–2040 BC). In addition to its written language, religion and dynastic ruling class, it developed a unique style of Egyptian architecture, including massive pyramids ( at Giza) and underground tombs (in the Desolated Valley of the Kings).
The pyramids at Giza date from the Old Kingdom (c. 2613 – 2181 BC) and represent the pinnacle of talent and skill acquired at the time
The first pyramid in Egypt, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, dates from the end of this early dynastic period;
the first pyramid in Egypt is the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara which dates from the end of the Early Dynasty, and features the monument and its surrounding complex. Comparison with the Mastaba tombs of earlier centuries shows that the Egyptians were far ahead in architecture, but how it is still a mystery.
Indo-islamic architecture
Great developments took place in the field of architecture in India during the medieval period. With the coming of the Muslims to India, many new features and techniques started coming to the buildings. The development of Muslim style of architecture of this period can be called Indo-Islamic architecture or Indian architecture influenced by Islamic art.
The architecture was a combination of Islamic architectural elements. The architecture of the medieval period can be divided into two main categories - the Delhi Sultanate's architecture or royal style and the Mughal architecture...
The royal style developed under the patronage of the Sultans of Delhi.Mughal architecture can be said to be a mixture of Islamic architecture of Central Asia and Hindu architecture of India....
Roman Architecture......
Roman architecture continued the legacy left by the Greek architect and established architectural orders, especially the Corinthian. Roman architects continued to follow the guidelines established by the classical orders that had previously been shaped by the Greeks: Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian.
Corinthian was especially liked.
Roman architecture, more than any other Roman art, reflects the practical character, restless energy and organizational mindset of its creators.
As the Roman Empire expanded not only to the Mediterranean region but to large areas of Western Europe, Roman architects struggled to achieve two major objectives: to demonstrate Rome's grandeur and power...
Roman engineers designed and built some of the largest public buildings in the history of architecture, including temples, basilicas, amphitheatres, triumphal arches, monuments, and public baths. In addition, to further reinforce the ideals of the Pax Romana and, above all, to maintain efficiency and order, Roman architects designed a vast network of roads, with numerous aqueducts, drainage systems and bridges
Ancient Chinese Architecture
Along with European and Arab architecture, ancient Chinese architecture is an important component of the world's architecture system.During its long development, it gradually became a style that included woodworking in combination with stone carving, rammed earth construction, bucket arch buildings and many other techniques.
Ancient Chinese architecture is mainly woodwork. Wood poles, beams, lintels and joists make up the outline of a house. Walls serve as the separation of rooms without bearing the weight of the whole house, which is unique to China. As a famous saying goes, 'Chinese houses will stand even when their walls collapse.
(Chinese wood carving)
Adopting the characteristic of wood requires antisepsis methods, thus developing into Chinese own architectural painting decoration. The colored glass roofs, windows with exquisite applique design and beautiful floral patterns on the wooden pillars show the high level of handicrafts of the artisans and their rich imagination.
