What did Allah Almighty say about water in the Holy Qur'an?
The creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of night and day, and the ships that sail in the sea are for the benefit of people. And what God sends down from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, and scatters therein every creature and the movement of the winds and the clouds. He is subjugated between heaven and the earth as signs for people who understand. (Surah Al-Baqarah Ayat # 164)
All the verses mentioned in this verse, including the water reviving the earth, are signs of God, His Oneness, Merciful and Merciful; Even for those who used their mind and thinking.
The Quran draws our attention to the only system that governs the world and the relationship between all its parts; For example, the effect of the sky and its creatures on the earth, the change of day and night, rain, etc., all these matters are interconnected. Contemplating these relationships leads us to monotheism.
"Can drinking water help you lose weight?"
Drinking water can make you feel fuller as it adds volume to your stomach. People often confuse thirst with hunger, which can lead to consuming more calories than necessary. Constant intake of water can prevent snacking and overeating. Additionally, replacing high-calorie drinks with water can reduce calorie intake. "Foods with high water content can also help improve eating habits by increasing feelings of satiety."
Let's take a look at how water affects our lives in various ways.
1. Water helps create saliva, which is made up primarily of water and is essential for breaking down solid foods and keeping your mouth healthy. If you experience dry mouth, it is recommended to increase your water intake. However, if the condition persists, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
2. Water plays a crucial role in regulating body temperature. Staying hydrated is essential to maintaining a normal body temperature. When we sweat or stay in hot environments, our body loses water, which can cause dehydration. This can further cause a drop in plasma and electrolyte levels, increasing body temperature.
3. Adequate hydration is also necessary for good cognitive function. Inadequate water intake can negatively affect our concentration, alertness, and short-term memory. Research has shown that staying hydrated can help improve cognitive performance.
4. Water is essential for our health and well-being. It helps protect our tissues, spinal cord, and joints by lubricating and cushioning them. It also helps excrete waste from our bodies through perspiration, urine, and defecation. Drinking enough water ensures that our kidneys work efficiently, preventing the formation of kidney stones.
5. Water is also important for physical performance. When we exercise or do physical activity, we lose fluids through sweating. Drinking enough water helps maximize our performance, strength, power, and endurance. It also helps increase our energy levels by increasing our metabolic rate.
6. Dehydration can be dangerous and have serious consequences, such as swelling of the brain, kidney failure, and seizures. Therefore, it is important to drink enough water to prevent dehydration. We must replace fluids lost through sweating, urination, and bowel movements, to avoid dehydration.
Drinking enough water is crucial to maintaining good health and preventing serious medical incidents.
I can see that you need some tips to increase your fluid intake.
1. Accompany each snack and meal with a drink.
2. Pay attention to your thirst and drink water accordingly.
3. Eat more fruits and vegetables as they contain high water content which will help you stay hydrated.
4. Carry a water bottle with you on the go, at your desk, or in your bag.
5. Choose drinks based on your individual needs. If you're watching your calorie intake, opt for calorie-free drinks or water.
