Why Ajith Kumar's Valimai release postponed!

#Ajith is the most awaited film of 2022 and the film was all set to the producer has decided to postpone the release of the film due to the current COVID-19 situation and restrictions announced the Tamil Nadu Government.

All that we desired during every single moment was to see them cheerful and happy in the cinema halls. At the same time, the safety and well-being of our audiences has always been at the forefront of all our decisions. Given the steep rise in COVID infections across the globe, and abiding by the regulations of the authorities, we have decided to postpone the release of our film until the situation. Get vaccinated, wear a mask and stay safe. See you in very soon!

 

Valimai' is said to have a run time of 2 hours and 58 minutes. 

It has been postponed news with Instagram post. Date is yet to be announced.

It has officially been postponed. #Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated Tamil film was slated to release. However, owing to the rise in Covid-19 cases in India, announced that the film has been delayed.

He shared the post with the caption, we thank our Distributors in India and across the globe for standing with us at this time. Fans dropped broken heart emojis to express their disappointment. It was slated to release on January 13 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The trailer had released last month, introducing as a police officer who is transferred to Chennai from Madurai and gets involved in cracking a case featuring 6000 heists that were performed using race bikes. While he plays the lead, Kartikeya Gummakonda has been roped in to play the villain. 

The Tamil film is the latest movie to postpone its release after Shahid Kapoor, Jersey, SS Rajamouli's RRR 

Producer Kapoor, who has backed Valimai, took to Twitter and posted a statement announcing that the film was pushed as the safety of the viewers was of utmost importance
