Phobia is not related to anxiety.
For instance,when you feel awkward in a social gathering or nervous performing in front of crowd, that is anxiety. While phobia, is an unreasonable fear of a particular thing like heights. There is a very thin line between them.
ANXIETY DISORDER
Anxiety Disorder is a fierce reaction to an emotion causing distress. Anxiety can last long or continuous for weeks and months. While anxiety does not limit your work or actions but distinctive to that, anxiety disorder do interferes with your daily activities. Anxiety disorder causes restlessness or say, panic attacks and fear of having another one. One affected with anxiety disorder always make an attempt to avoid social gathering as they are petrified of being constantly judged. There are sudden recurring flashbacks or sometimes, nightmares of any past incident.
Symptoms in a person can differ from others. It is not obligatory to have all them at once. As people often investigate the symptoms on the internet ignorant of the fact that not everyone will experince same symptoms.
Needless to say 'Anxiety Disorder' is a typically natural emotion which is exactly proportionate, serious and real as any other disease, disorder and malfunctions.
Can Ruminating cause anxiety?
Overthinking is a 'silent' mental health problem. Overestimating about each affair, every interaction or an experience that seems to be going negative, overanalysing everything to an extent that it bothers your sleep or when you start noticing even the minimalist changes are all under overthinking. This kind of anxiety cannot be looked at in a more positive way as it can be gruelling for some as they just can’t ever seem to quit the constant barrages of anxiety. But once you step out of your negative comception zone, it seems to be absconding. Therefore, overthinking can be, a very much psychological, yet a valid cause of anxiety.
