Who will be the next Prime minister of India?

Introduction :

The next Indian general election is expected to be held in India between April and May 2024 to elect the members of the 18th Lok Sabha

The tenure of Lok Sabha is scheduled to end on 16 May 2024. [1] The previous general elections were held in April–May 2019. After the election, National Democratic Alliance, led by Bharatiya Janata Party, formed the union government, with Narendra Modi continuing as Prime Minister.[2]

All 543 elected MPs are elected from single-member constituencies using first-past-the-post voting.[3] The 104th amendment to the constitution abolished the two seats that were reserved for the Anglo-Indian community.[4]

Eligible voters must be Indian citizens, 18 years or older, an ordinary resident of the polling area of the constituency and registered to vote (name included in the electoral rolls), possess a valid voter identification card issued by the Election Commission of India or equivalent.[5] Some people convicted of electoral or other offenses are barred from voting.[6]

Article 83 of the Constitution of India requires elections to the Lok Sabha be held once every five years.[7]

Parties and alliances

Most of the contesting parties are small with regional appeal. There are 6 national parties — Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Bahujan Samaj Party, National People's Party and Aam Aadmi Party. Among these parties, BJP and INC are main contenders for the election.

Narendra Modi :

n 2001, Modi was appointed Chief Minister of Gujarat and elected to the legislative assembly soon after. His administration is considered complicit in the 2002 Gujarat riots,[d] and has been criticised for its management of the crisis. A little over 1,000 people were killed, according to official records, three-quarters of whom were Muslim; independent sources estimated 2,000 deaths, mostly Muslim.[10] A Special Investigation Team appointed by the Supreme Court of India in 2012 found no evidence to initiate prosecution proceedings against him.[e] While his policies as chief minister, which were credited for encouraging economic growth, were praised, Modi's administration was criticised for failing to significantly improve health, poverty and education indices in the state.[f] In the 2014 Indian general election, Modi led the BJP to a parliamentary majority, the first for a party since 1984. His administration increased direct foreign investment; it reduced spending on healthcare, education, and social-welfare programmes. Modi began a high-profile sanitation campaign, controversially initiated the 2016 demonetisation of high-denomination banknotes and introduced the Goods and Services Tax, and weakened or abolished environmental and labour laws.

As the last update in September 2021, Narendra Modi served as the Prime Minister of India, having assumed office on May 26, 2014, and re-elected in May 2019. In a future scenario, his potential to become the Prime Minister again in the 2024 election would depend on several factors, including his party's performance in the upcoming elections, public sentiment, political alliances, and various other variables.

Rahul Gandhi :

As the last update in September 2021, Rahul Gandhi is a prominent leader in the Indian National Congress party. He has held various leadership roles within the party but has not yet served as the Prime Minister of India.

Regarding the possibility of Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister in 2024, it would depend on several factors, including the performance of his party in the upcoming elections, the formation of alliances with other political parties, and the public's support for him as a candidate.

Kumari mayawati:

Kumari Mayawati (born Kumari Mayawati Das; 15 January 1956) is an Indian politician[1] who served as the 18th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 1995 to 1995, 1997 to 1997, 2002 to 2003 and from 2007 to 2012. She is the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), which focuses on a platform of social change for Bahujans, more commonly known as Other Backward Castes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as well as religious minorities since 2003. She had also served as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 2012 to 2017 from Uttar Pradesh. Mayawati's rise from humble beginnings has been called a "miracle of democracy" by P. V. Narasimha Rao, former prime minister of India.[2] In 1993.

Conclusion :

Narendra Modi will be ahead in upcoming election. Because he did a lot of work that are proud for Indian.
