who want to lose weight even while staying at home’: Shehnaaz Gill opens up about diet, fitness and mental health

who came to stardom after appearing on the reality program Bigg Boss, has wowed fans with her openness and flawless taste. She astonished her admirers after the program with a dramatic weight-loss makeover she accomplished during the Covid-19 lockup.

Her weight-loss journey inspired many others who wanted to discover the secret behind her transformation. She recently appeared on Shape on You, a fitness show hosted by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, to share her story.

The 28-year-old admitted that leaving the Bigg Boss house was a watershed moment in her life. "The lockdown had begun by the time I completed Bigg Boss." So, when we were in lockdown, I thought to myself, 'Why not try something new?' so that when people saw me, they'll say, 'Is that Shehnaaz?'"

However, the actor-singer acknowledged that she didn't achieve her objectives through a rigorous gym program or trendy diets. "It wasn't like I changed my diet or anything," she explained. I ate the same diet as before, but I cut down on the amount of food I ate. I consume turmeric water and tea after waking up. I now begin my day with a glass of apple cider vinegar water. I occasionally eat green grams, dosa, or a fenugreek paratha for breakfast. I start my day with a high-protein breakfast. My diet has taken up 70% of my attention."

She emphasized the significance of drinking adequate water in addition to maintaining a good diet. "I'm a big water drinker." I flavor the water with strawberries and cucumber and drink it throughout the day. It's also essential for your skin."

While many people assume that losing weight requires sticking to a strict diet and going to the gym every day, Shehnaaz disagrees. "Even if you stay at home, you can lose weight successfully." If you're not permitted to go outdoors, go for a stroll inside," she said.

While she has steadily ascended the corporate ladder in recent years, she has struck a personal low with the loss of her close friend Sidharth Shukla in September of last year. "If I get the chance to laugh, then I will laugh and remain joyful," she said of the trolling she received when a video of her dancing at a friend's party leaked in December. I shall celebrate Diwali if I feel like it since happiness is very essential in life."

"This is the first time I've mentioned anything, and it's only because you asked me to. Otherwise, I prefer not to respond to these inquiries. Why should I notify anyone about Sidharth's relationship? On suspicions regarding her reported connection with Sidharth, she stated, "I am not accountable to anyone."

"I was never asked by Sidharth to stop laughing." In fact, he had a strong desire to see me pleased at all times. As a result, I'll always laugh and keep working because I want to progress in my life," the Honsla Rakh singer added.
