Human interact in a society. As a social creature one depends, from birth to death, on society. A human dependent on society for growth and sustenance. The self can come into being only in society with the give -and -take off group life. That is why Aries total man is a social animal. He how lives without society is either beast or a God'. Society ,therefore ,is the web of social existence.
Social structure grow out of social situation and social realities. Social situation and realities emerge out of interaction among individuals theme cells and with other inter acting adjustment of behavior to environment and to other individuals and groups takes place.This evolves patterns in relationship and development of norms, trust and network in the society , promoting Civic engagement. Action of individuals and the norms they other to win repeated in an orderly manner get pet turned and a sum the shape of social structure.
Social structure can , therefor, be divided into two broad areas. First, the kinship structure which grows out of the family and its extension into broader relationship grouping of clean and drive is by for the most important group in society.the other is the result of free association of individuals , classes and the community at large.
The social structure is also built up the elements such as: status, social rules, groups and institution. These elements constituting a social structure are just like the walls, and foundation of a building structure.
Status
Status means position within a society. You are a son or a daughter, an ascribed status. When you take up a job or become a manager of an organisation USD this status.
Social roles
social rules mean the expected or given role that one play being a part of social structure such as that of a father, teacher, student, prayer warden, supervisor, police officer etc.
Group
Group is any number of people with similar place of work, job or educational institute who regularly and consciously interact. every society has group for social interaction and they are vital to a society's social structurese.
Social institution
Social institution such as family, bridary, mosque, government , voluntary association are the basics of social structure.
Pakistan's social structure revolves mostly around family and kin. Family is the basic unit of social organization providing its members with identity and protection . The most important feature of social structure that cut across all provinces in Pakistan and that has proved to be most resilient of all is patriarchy.
