Meghan Markle’s Changing Celebrity Circle
Back in 2018, Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry looked like a Hollywood red-carpet event. With guests like Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney, Idris Elba, and James Corden, many assumed Meghan was well on her way to becoming a central figure in both the royal world and celebrity culture.
But according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, those friendships may not have been as genuine as they appeared. He pointed out that George and Amal Clooney admitted they didn’t even know Meghan personally before the wedding. Similarly, Meghan had only met Oprah once, despite later doing a major interview with her. Fitzwilliams even noted that the interview wasn’t considered one of Oprah’s career highlights. MORE
