Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth II, was known for her demanding and sometimes harsh behaviour toward palace staff. Royal insider Tom Quinn, in his biography Yes, Ma’am, revealed that Margaret had a reputation for being “extremely demanding and bad-tempered.” Staff recalled that she disliked when her personal items were moved without permission and would publicly scold servants, sometimes humiliating them. One former staff member suggested her behaviour may have stemmed from personal hurt or frustration in her life, including difficulties in her marriage to Lord Snowdon.
