Once upon a time. A Pandit Ji returned to the village after studying the scriptures in Kashi for many years. There was fame in the entire village that they have come educated from Kashi and can solve any religion-related puzzle.
Hearing the fame, a farmer came to him, and he asked - Panditji, tell us who the master of sin is?
Pandit Ji got confused; he had heard the religious and spiritual teacher, but it is also the master of sin; it was beyond his understanding and knowledge.
Panditji felt that his study had remained incomplete. He then returned to Kashi. He met many gurus, but he did not get the answer to the question of the farmer.
Suddenly one day, he met a courtesan (prostitute). When he asked Pandit Ji the reason for the problem, he explained his problem. The singer said- Pandit Ji! The answer is straightforward, but you have to live in my neighborhood for a few days to get the answer.
Panditji was wandering only for this knowledge. He immediately got ready. The courtesan made a separate arrangement for his stay with himself. Pandit Ji did not eat anyone's handmade food. He was an ardent follower of his rules and ethics.
Staying in the girl's house, cooking food with her own hand, she spent a few days very comfortably, but the question has not been answered yet. He was waiting for an answer. One day Ganika said to Pandit ji - Pandit ji! You have great difficulty in cooking food. There is no one else to see here. If you say that I can prepare food for you by taking a bath and washing it, you will not have any problem.
To persuade Pandit Ji, he lured that if you give me an opportunity for this service, I will also give you five gold currencies daily in Dakshina.
On hearing the name of the golden currency, Panditji started thinking. Cooked food and gold coins as well! That is, there are laddus in both hands. Pandit Ji forgot his rules, fast, ethics, and religion. They got lured by the gold currency, forgot their rules and rules to get the currency.
He said- Desire, like you, take special care that no one will see you while coming to my room.
On the very first day, he prepared various dishes and served them in front of Panditji. But as soon as Pandit Ji wanted to eat, he pulled the serving plate from the front. On this, Panditji became enraged and said, what is this joke?
The singer said, this is not a joke, Pandit Ji; this is the answer to your question. Before coming here, you did not take food away, did not even drink water in the hands of anyone, but in the greed of gold currencies, you also accepted my food made by hand. This greed is the master of sin.
