Previously, Bungle also encouraged its audience to donate to charities including URGE (Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equality), Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, NAVAL Pro-Choice America Foundation, In Our Own Voice, and Trans Lifeline to help support rights to essential healthcare.
Bungle CEO Pete Parsons also tweeted the following with regard to the decision:
"This is a difficult day for our country. Good people will be hurt by this decision." Bungle will do whatever we can to protect our people and ensure they can live happy, healthy lives. A gamer isn't alone in speaking up. Insomniac Games tweeted a statement as well, reads, "We are human beings who make games. Reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy are human rights."
Among our developer, Innersloth has also joined in with links to a number of organizations providing reproductive and essential healthcare, alongside its own statement:
"Inner sloth supports reproductive choice and liberty. The ending of the constitutional right to abortion is a gender, racial, economic, and human rights disaster for both present and future generations. 2022's Summer Games Done Quick was the first in-person Games Done Quick event since Awesome Games Done Quick 2020 in Orlando, FL, and this year's event was held from June 26 - July 3 at the Hercules by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South.
Games Done Quick has now raised over $40 million for charities around the world since they began their philanthropic mission in 2010, including Doctors Without Borders, Prevent Cancer Foundation, Malala Fund, Organization for Autism Research, and CARE.
