Jack Keating, along with Gemma Owen, the daughter of former professional footballer Michael Owen, is the newest Love Island candidate to have a renowned dad.

Joining the likes of Tommy Fury, Gemma Owen and Antigone Buxton in the category of "Love Island contestants and famous parents" is a new Casa Amor bomber Jack Keating, the son of Irish Boyzone singer Ronan Keating.

Jack Keating: Who is he?

Jack is the son of Irish model and television actress Yvonne Connolly and Ronan Keating.

The Dublin-born 23-year-old now resides in London and works in social media marketing.

He was asked why he wanted to participate in Love Island and why now, to which he responded, "I have been lacking that spark for over four years now that I have been single. As if I had been in love for a very long time, I entered the dating scene.

"And I simply questioned why? I'm hoping to connect with someone"

Keating has a total of five kids.

He wed Yvonne Connolly in April 1998, and the two have three children together: Jack was born in 1999, Marie was born in 2001, and Ali was born in 2005.

Keating and Connolly divorced in 2015. Their divorce proceedings began in 2010.

In August 2010, he started dating Storm Uechtritz, and a few months later, their divorce from Connolly was finalized.

Cooper, the son of Keating and Uechtritz, was born in 2017, and Coco, the daughter of the couple, was born in 2020.
