Rohit Sharma is not just a Cricketer. He is a usher for Indian Cricket team, he is champion. He is a hitman, he is a runmachine. Yes you heard it right. He has won 4 big ICC tournaments for his country & made his country proud. He was born in Bansod which is situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra(India). Rohit is a right handed batsman & right arm off break bowler. Sharma is the only player having a record of three double centuries that is absolutely amazing record which no one else has. He also holds the record of hitting a maximum sixes in all across the format. He also have the record of individual scored in ODI cricket. Rohit Sharma has won 2007 T20 World Cup, 2013 ICC Champions Trophy as an Indian Player & he has won 2024 T20 World Cup 2025 Champions Trophy as a Captain. He also have played a few ICC tournaments final which India didn't win like ICC Test Championship final twice & ICC ODI world cup. Sharma joined IPL in 2008 then he played for the the IPL franchise Deccan Chargers under the captainship of Adam Gilchrist. He won the second edition of the IPL title with the same franchise in 2009. In 2011 he was signed by Mumbai Indians. He was appointed captain for Mumbai Indians in 2013. He has won five title for Mumbai Indians since then. MS Dhoni has the same record for the franchise Chennai Super Kings. Rohit Sharma was awarded by Govt. of India in 2015 with the Arjuna Award which is second highest sporting honour in India. And in 2020 he was awarded Rajiv Gandhi khel ratna award. He is inspiring for the next generation. He is not just a good batsman, he is a better fielder & a very good captain.
