WHO IS A HUMAN BEING?
"Everyone has two eyes, but no one has the same view." Folks have different perceptions, so have I.
According to my, human beings do not limit themselves to the theories given by historians. We are not just limited to a species of homo sapiens; we are much, much more than that; we are realistic. We are practical. We are a valuable resource. Our qualities make us different from others.
H1: MEANING
The meaning of a human being lies in the term itself; it is the quality of being human. When we talk about the qualities of a human being, what I can sum up is the quality of kindness, respect, and compassion towards other creatures. When we look at history, there were many acts of cruelty performed by people, but in response to that, there have been many acts of humanity done by great personalities. Some people have dedicated their whole lives to protect others, to protest against several inequalities.
Rabindranath Tagore strongly believed that one has to worship humanity to maintain contact with the divine. He mentioned this in his Noble Prize-winning piece, Gitanjali.
H2: CHANGE IN TREND OF HUMANITY
As we are growing older with time, the quality of humanity in human beings is constantly declining. Humanity is not a quality that we can show with our selfish and disrespectful minds. It is a trait that can only be reflected with a selfless heart, a helping, and a kind soul. One can only identify a pure soul if you have a sparkling vision. It is said, "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder," and what if the beholder has a corrupt mind? It will surely see the world with a negative vision. Doing an act of humanity is what we call satisfaction. Religion, race, nationalism, caste, socio-economic class is the unwanted gift of declining humanity.
H3: THE REALITY
“The Reality.” we should have acquired the traits of a human with humanity. It is the value that binds us together, that keeps us going. I personally feel that the world is so harsh to accept and adopt the new changes. Why do parents warn their children before they step out to view the real world? What is reality? Is being selfish a reality?
It is proven in science that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, then how can we expect someone to do acts of kindness while having a selfish mindset?
Are we just here to practice dominance over other creatures? Human beings are born with an inbuilt trait of superior mental development. This absolutely does not imply that someone has given authority to humans to rule over others just because “we” consider them inferior.
A human is intelligent only when we can use the intelligence to help others rather than create situations to trouble them. According to the Bible, the concept of a human being as a person is the real seal of that human as being-as-the image of God.
H4: CONCLUSION
God created noble creatures, don’t act foolish to prove your dominance.
