On social media, especially Twitter, P Chidambaram, the country's veteran Congress leader, occasionally slams Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various issues. The New York Times report claims that during a visit to Israel in 2016, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi struck a 200 million deal to buy weapons and intelligence surveillance equipment.
